This post is totally hilarious! From Driving Miss Daisy (more my speed) to Mad Max (which I havent seen but I can just imagine!) I would love to visit Morocco anyway! Also when was Fes the most populous city in the world? that fact struck me as one I would not have known!

Glad you enjoyed it! It’s true…Under Almohad rule the city grew to become the largest in the world between 1170 and 1180, with an estimated 200,000 people living there.Crazy eh?

It’s such an amazing country- I grew up in the Middle East and Morocco is like what Dubai used to be back in the day. I love how the old customs and ways of life are still preserved here.

I love Morocco! I spent so much of my youth here… I am really enjoying reading about your experiences traveling with the kids; I did mine without them, but we did go back when they were about 8 and 11.

Hahaha I love that these were described through movies! Sounds like an interesting experience, to say the very least!
