Fashion Friday | Jardin Majorelle
During the hot days in Marrakech we thought we’d take a walk to the Majorelle Garden with the kids. Walking in the heat was a bad idea but taking refuge here was a good one. With many tall trees surrounding us we managed to keep cool in the shade and the kids enjoyed running around. It was busy during our visit but they still had plenty of space to roam freely. For those with strollers, Jardin Marjorelle is an easy place to navigate with your pram and a pleasant change after the bustling medina which is filled with bikes zooming by and you yelling at the kids to stick close by. Funny enough, it was scorching outside but as soon as we stepped inside Jardin Marjorelle, a huge gust of wind started blowing leaves everywhere and we took shelter in a covered space where the kids were able to look at fish in a pond before we ventured off to look at the huge Cacti in the gardens nearby, You could easily spend an hour and a half here. More if you actually step into the museum onsite. Kids under 12 are free to enter and adults were 70 Dhs during our visit (30 Dhs more if you visit the museum).
